Wednesday 14th September at 15.42........
Well it's the middle of the week and I'm looking forward to another weekend. As always been busy bee as of late with loads on the go. where is the best place to start going to be.. ummmm....
I've got a bunch of photos from August to sort through and upload to the internet. In fact at the moment I can't quite remember what they look like so might have to get cracking and load them soon.
Hockey has jsut started a new fresh season and I've been running and going to pre-season fitness for a good 2-3 months now. Feeling in great shape and am looking to charge all over the pitch with a little more Zip!
Still wanting to change me car looks like that's defo on hold on until new year! :( Doh.... oh well it will be worth the wait! :)

Whats new?
Well Just got back from one tour two weeks ago and I've just found out that I've been invited onto another tour this weekend! WooHooooooo
The Rickmansworth bunch have asked a few wizards to join them on this tour in Bournmouth - I think my camera will be making another apperance! long with more booze and hockey then you can shake a stick at!
Keep an eye out on my site for photos of this new additional tour and also photos from the Cricket I saw recently as well as other updates.

Ummm Tuesday lunchtime.... Time to Blog...
Hey well yet again it's been a while since my last update on my blog, mainly becasue works been mental and I've been bolting about all over the place and by the time I'm home the last thing I've felt like is sitting in front of another PC :O
Well got a spare 5 mins today so thought I'd run you up on some of the things I've been up too.
Saw my 1st cricket match in person this month and got some photos too to update to the photos section soon. Even had a couple of mates from hockey say that they saw me for about 20 seconds when one of the England batsmans creamed a 4 the camera cut to a shot of me.. Woohoooo im on sky sports!!! Quality!
Also had another tour too which was to Rickmansworth, had another tip top tour with good hockey and even better drinking. Again photos are being sorted out to upload soon.

Opps! been a while....
Well I've just noticed that my blog on here is way, way out of date, Opps!
I've been caught up in loads of stuff since my last update back last year. We've had 2 very good hockey tours to date with another one not far away. There have been a few good nights out in Bristol. I've been to a weddening already this year with another 2 planned in July and August.
My web site overall is being kept up to date with photos from night out, meeting with people, tours and other event which I think my camera will be of use. :)
I'm also thinking of producing some kind of card which I'm able to pass onto people so they can see the photos taken as well and expand the Paul Poker Web Empire... hahahahahahaha! murpah! - (opps slipped into Star Wars mode then)

Happy Christmas and have a Happy New Year one and all! :)
Just a quick post here really to wish you all happy Christmas and a Happy New year. I'm in the process of adding yet more (smiles) photos from both a recent rugby match I've seen - The All Blacks Vs The Barbarians at Twickenham in UK. Was a top game and I'm glad I went. Should have the photos up in next few days.
I have also just had our hockey christmas do as well. Where the theme was Pop Stars. I have never had so much fun in fancy dress for ages! the photos for that are a MUST SEE!! for sure.
As I said there are loads of things on the go at the moment and I'm making sure I'm photographing it all for you to enjoy! I'm off to another rugby match on Sunday to see my local team Bristol take on Wasps (london based team) again photos will be appearing on here.

3 Weeks to Christmas! Yippeeeeeeeee!
Time for another long over due update on my blog. Well I've been pretty much flat out with loads on the go with work, hockey, setting myself sorted in new house and the odd trip away.
As you may or may not know I' ve recently moved jobs to an IT company who deal with the needs of small to medium size firms here in the UK. It's been a total change to what I was use too and I'm starting to find my feet now which is good. Finding the new tasks and role is quite testing and the time and days are flying past. ( also got our Christmas do this friday which should be good and a bit of a laugh as well)
The house is getting there. Moved pretty much all of my stuff in and the room I have is great. It's a nice size and it's the best room I've had since moving out of home again. (last two flats have been smaller rooms.) Plus my room over looks the garden/ back lawn - which will be nice in the summer.
Have been to Ireland recently as well with Sally and her friends had a great time and drank loads and spent a small fortune, but it was well worth it. The people we met were great and friendly which all helped us have a really nice time.
Should have the photos done soon and will be whacking them online when there are all sorted out.

My, My, What a week.....
Its's been a very, very busy week for me. I've moved out from home and into a share house with a friend from hockey and one of his mates. I've also entered the final few days of my job as I'm moving onto work with an IT consultancy.
Moving House....
Well the new place is totally awesome. It's in a nice quite area with local shops in walking distance. A couple of local pubs and an easy walk or short drive to where the main night life is in Bristol. It's felt really odd though. Moving all my gear into boxes and then unpacking it all buying in new stuff that I need as well, it's all been a bit hectic to say the least. I'm hoping that things will start to slow down a bit. Met the new land lord last weekend as well and he seems nice enough which is great. Last thing you need is a land lord who is either checking up all the time or making things hard.
Mates and friends....
Well it's been great to hear from my friends who are currently travelling about the place. Mac is in the USA and has been busy dodging Tornados etc have recived some funny text messages to my mob phone from him and some cool photo messages as well. Will have to add them to my site at some point. We also have had some cool updates from the Winsor Brothers who are trekking it across Asia at the moment somewhere in the middle of india / Nepal region. Good Luck guys and keep us posted!
Sport....
Been playing hockey as always and have been lucky in more ways then one over the last week or so. I managed to get hit in the face with a stick a few weeks ago (photos to be added as well) I had to have the side of my nosed glued back up as it was a bit of a mess. The Doc's said I was lucky not to have broken my nose and or damaged either my eye or my eye socket.. Scary stuff!
I played hockey on Sunday (just gone) and the team played well that we ended up in the final! came 2nd there though but still got a nice little award which is sat next to my other one.
Righto must dash for now.. Will carry out another update soon with photos from Mac's USA trip, my hockey photos and of course photos of the new house!
